  MICRODERMABRASIONMicrodermabrasion is a wonderful introductory treatment into the world of anti-aging skin care. This widely used procedure is gentle and effective at repairing facial skin that is starting to show signs of aging. Similarly, microdermabrasion may also be used as a preventative treatment to avoid early signs of wrinkles and age spots. Anyone suffering from mild acne scars will also benefit from a series of microdermabrasion treatments.Microdermabrasion will also work to revitalize dull skin, reduce large pores, reduce mild pigment irregularities (hyperpigmentation), and stretch marks. It is equally effective to other skin treatments (on superficial imperfections) and, most importantly, it allows you to get back to your daily routine immediately after treatment. During microdermabrasion, a device like a fine sandblaster is used to spray tiny crystals across the face, mixing gentle abrasion with suction to remove the dead, outer layer of skin.
